Rod McMillan

Rod has wide public and private sector experience including roles as a general manager in policy and operations, a strategist and consultant. He has been a senior public service manager, university academic, farmer and advisor to corporate leaders on business strategy, leadership, organisational design and development, public policy and programme/ project management.

Rod was the founding Chair of the Public Service Senior Managers’ Forum.

  

Qualifications

Rod has studied strategic management and leadership at Harvard Business School, and Stanford’s School of Business. He has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Canterbury and an honours degree in agricultural science specialising in management and rural development and extension from Lincoln University.

George Stuart

George has a proven track record in general management, policy and strategy  development in both the public sector and the private sector.  He specialises in scenario analysis and System Dynamics Simulation Modelling, providing organisations with risk-free insights into future possibilities. George has developed robust models for clients in the health, emergency management, education, agriculture, traffic safety, economic development and resource allocation, and human resources areas.

George has held senior management roles in the: Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Zealand Wool Board, Ministry of Research, Science and Technology and Business and Economic Research Ltd.  He also has international experience in Japan and Germany.  George enjoys teamwork in an environment of creativity and constant challenge.

 

Qualifications

George's PhD studies were in Radio science, followed up with a post-graduate diploma in business administration.

John Murphy
